    Personal Best Education are looking for an energetic assistant with a “can do” attitude to assist the Community Department. Your role will not be limited to:

    • Report any faults with equipment.
    • Ensure correct and safe use of equipment, including the Fitness Suite.

    • Unlock / Lock the school premises during the weekend.
    • Set up computer access.
    • Assist site staff.

  • Casual Sports Coach

    Personal Best Education are looking for Casual Sports Coaches to deliver high-quality coaching sessions in schools across Hampshire, specifically across the Test Valley area and Winchester.

    Due to an influx of work we are looking to expand our provision for local schools and are looking for a number of Sports Coaches with a variety of specialisms. This would be ideal for a University Student or an individual looking for part-time hours.

    Essential Skills and requirements: 

    • UKCC Level 2 qualified (or higher)
    • To be able to transport themselves in and around Hampshire
    • Enjoy working with children and young people

    Desirable skills and requirements:

    • Level 2 Multi skills
    • PESS Level 3
    • Have the Bikeability National Standards Instructor training
    • Any level 2 sports qualifications

  • Bikeability Instructor

    Personal Best Education is a coaching company and the lead organisation in the Hampshire Schools Cycling Partnership with Pedal Power. You will deliver National Standards Bikeability Level 1, 2 and 3 in schools across Hampshire, specifically in New Forest, Andover, Basingstoke, Winchester, Test Valley and Romsey, and also sports coaching within this area. 

    What will be your Responsibilities and Accountabilities?

    • To deliver Bikeability, National Standards Cycle Training in Hampshire Schools. Including a basic skills off-road course (Level 1), basic on-road training course (Level 2) and advanced skills course (Level 3) to children and young people.
    • Complete course paperwork (registers, risk assessments, certificates and results)
    • Promote cycling as an active travel choice and a fun, healthy activity.
    • To complete the National Standards Instructors training

    Essential Skills and requirements:

    • Level 2 National Standard Cycle Training (NSI) qualification
    • To be able to confidently ride a bike and enjoy cycling
    • To be able to physically demonstrate the skills to be taught whilst delivering the Bikeability Course

    Job details:

    £15 per hour (this is a part-time position)
