We provide three different offers during holiday periods to keep your children entertained.
All of our staff are qualified and quality assured by our in-house teaching staff (qualified teachers).
We also ensure that all staff working with your children are DBS cleared and First-Aid trained.
Club manager – Andy Samuels (Football Development Manager)
For children/young adults aged 5-14 years.
Our coaches use a range of football based challenges which develop control, passing, dribbling and shooting to be showcased in match play. Children will work in small groups to encourage skills acquisition and decision making. All coaches are DBS checked, first aid qualified and FA qualified to ensure high-quality coaching.
If your child is booked on for the full day, they must bring a packed lunch and a water bottle. During the summer please ensure they have a summer hat and suntan lotion. They must also pack:
– Football kit or comfortable active wear
– Astro boots/trainers
– Shin pads for protection are highly recommended.
For children aged 6 – 10 years
A play plan for each holiday is scheduled that offers the children a range of activities to choose from. Our ratio for Activity Club is 1:8 and our hours are 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. Half day bookings are available.
You will meet in the Community Lounge at The Mountbatten School (SO51 5SY)
For children aged 11-16 years.
Like Activity Club, a play plan for each holiday is scheduled that offers the children a range of activities to choose from. We also arrange fun trips for 11+ to places such as Romsey Rapids, Woodmill, Oxygen free jumping, cinema, bowling and Laser Quest. Our ratio for 11+ is 1:12 and our hours are 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. Half day bookings are available as well as the late stay option.
You will meet at the Lantern Theatre Building at The Mountbatten School (SO51 5SY)
For both clubs, we do lots of sports based activities so ensure that your child wears suitable footwear such as trainers or flats. For health and safety, we do not recommend heels or shoes with wheels. We also do crafts and although children wear aprons for painting sometimes children can have accidents and therefore we recommend children wear comfortable casual clothes as opposed to their best.
For children/young adults aged 6-18 years.
We understand that some children may find change hard or take time to adapt to a new setting and new people. Which is why we offer home visits and visits to our setting to help provide a smooth transition. Getting to know your child’s needs and personality helps us to make an individual play plan. This provides children with the opportunity to join in with our mainstream activity clubs or to enjoy an activity with their playworker. We work closely with parent/carers to ensure all needs are met. All children have their own profile which staff read every time they work with them; we are also able to use PECs or Makaton when necessary.
If your child is booked on for the full day they must bring a packed lunch and a water bottle. During the summer, please ensure they have a summer hat and suntan lotion.
Please put your child’s name clearly on their belongings such as coats, jumpers, bags and lunch boxes. This helps prevent any mix-ups if children have the same. It also helps us to get items back to where they belong is they are left after a holiday.
We strongly recommend children do not bring in their own personal toys, however, if your child would still like to bring their own we cannot accept any responsibility for lost or damaged goods, this includes mobile phones, tablets or any other electrical device.
A deposit of £5.00 per day per child is required to secure places.
